OUR ‘PERPETUAL’ MIRACULOUS 54-DAY ROSARY NOVENA LAUNCHED BY JESUSFORUSALL.COM ON 7 OCTOBER 2025, Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary

History of this initiative by Spiro Sueref, founder of jesus4usall.com

I first prayed this miraculous novena in 2012 with my-then fiancée because we were getting married on 16 July 2012 (the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel) and we needed a miracle as we were struggling to plan everything on a low budget.
Our Heavenly Mother helped us, thank God and glory to Jesus, with everything to make our wedding blessed and special. That was our first time we did the 54-Day Rosary Novena, and we (my wife and I) have never stopped saying it since; now we’ve been saying it for 13 years. This is why in our home we call it the “Perpetual 54-Day Rosary Novena” – we have seen many miracles through praying it and we give all the praise and glory to God, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, as well as our heartfelt thanks to our Heavenly Mother. Spiro has written about his experience on just how miraculous this 54-Day Rosary Novena is in the Jesus4usall.com magazine (Issue 9, Autumn 2025)
So when I saw sister Natalie in London organising the 54-Day Rosary Novena with her WhatsApp group, and how many people joined to pray it with her, I was happy to see how so many were turning up to join in this miraculous devotional prayer. We have heard that there were testimonies during this time of saying the Rosary Novena which finished on Sunday 28 September 2025.
We have now placed our own Rosary Novena under our Devotional Prayer Group team’s responsibility. We had to assess when we should start it, and if it should be public or just for our members, and whether the platform should be on WhatsApp or Zoom. I was having a discussion with the leaders of the Devotional Prayer Group in the first week of October: Caroline, Janka and Louise, to discuss the possibilities and practicalities of embarking on the novena. Knowing that our next issue of the magazine would be published on the first week of Advent (from 30th November), I asked the question, “How many days are there between now and the first day of Advent?” Janka said that there were 56 days left. And we thought, if there were 56 days left, then we only had a couple of days to launch the 54-Day Rosary Novena to enable it to coincide with the day before Advent. Therefore, we decided to start the novena as soon as possible. It opted to start the novena on the 7th October, not really knowing at the time that it was actually the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. This amazed us when we found out.

This miraculous devotion couldn’t have started on a better date.
We launched on the 7th October, 2025, the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary; and it was launched on WhatsApp. We found out from Day One that there was a need for us to repeat the devotion at three different times each day: 8am, 1pm and 7pm. By the time the devotion launched, there were over 130 members in the group.
OUR ‘PERPETUAL’ MIRACULOUS 54-DAY ROSARY NOVENA
History of the 54-Day Rosary Novena (as Rosary booklet pdf)
In an apparition of Our Lady of Pompeii, which occurred in 1884 at Naples, in the house of Commander Agrelli, the heavenly Mother deigned to make known the manner in which she desires to be invoked. For thirteen months Fortuna Agrelli, the daughter of the Commander, had endured dreadful sufferings and torturous cramps. The most celebrated physicians had given up.
On 16 February, 1884, the afflicted girl and her relatives commenced a novena of Rosaries. The Queen of the Holy Rosary favoured her with an apparition on 3 March. Mary, sitting upon a high throne, surrounded by luminous figures, held the divine Child on her lap, and in her hand a Rosary. The Virgin Mother and the Holy Infant were clad in gold embroidered garments. They were accompanied by St Dominic and St Catherine of Siena. The throne was profusely decorated with flowers; the beauty of Our Lady was marvellous.
Mary looked upon the sufferer with maternal tenderness and the patient saluted her with the words: “Queen of the Holy Rosary, be gracious to me; restore me to health! I have already prayed to thee in a novena O Mary, but have not yet experienced thy aid. I am so anxious to be cured!”
“Child”, responded the Blessed Virgin, “thou hast invoked me by various titles and hast always obtained favours from me. Now, since thou hast called me by that title so pleasing to me, ‘Queen of the Holy Rosary’, I can no longer refuse the favour thou dost petition; for this name is most precious and dear to me. Make three novenas, and thou shalt obtain all”.
Once more the Queen of the Holy Rosary appeared to her and said: “Whoever desires to obtain favours from me should make three novenas of the prayers of the Rosary, and three novenas in thanksgiving”.
This miracle of the Rosary made a very deep impression on Pope Leo XIII, and greatly contributed to the fact that in so many circular letters, he urged all Christians to love the Rosary and say it fervently.
Method – How we Do it (as Rosary booklet pdf)
The 54-Day-Rosary Novena consists of five decades of the Rosary each day for 27 days in petition; then immediately five decades each day for 27 days in thanksgiving, whether or not the request has been granted.
The meditations vary from day to day. On the first day meditate on the Joyful Mysteries; on the second day the Sorrowful Mysteries; on the third day the Glorious Mysteries and on the fourth day the Luminous Mysteries; and so on throughout the 54 days.
Follow the format of the prayers for each of the mysteries as outlined in the guide booklet PDF (here on the website). This is a novena requiring perseverance, and it is a novena of love. With a pure and sincere heart, you may be surprised and find it easy to obtain your request.
Should you not obtain the favour you seek, be assured that the Rosary Queen, who knows what each one stands most in need of, has heard your prayer. You will not have prayed in vain. No prayer ever went unheard and Our Blessed Lady has never been known to fail.
Look upon each Hail Mary as a rare and beautiful rose which you lay at Mary’s feet. These spiritual roses, bound in a wreath with Spiritual Communions, will be a most pleasing and acceptable gift to her and will bring down upon you special graces.
