Give Jesus Your January 2026 – and let Him bless ALL your 2026!
We would like to invite you to join our initiative in giving January to God, with the aim and the hope that He will bless the rest of the year for us.
This is similar to the principle of tithing, when we give to God the first fruits and He blesses the rest. In this case, we are giving Him the first month of the year so that the year becomes a blessed and prosperous year for us. What do we mean by giving him January? And how do we do that? As we transition in contemplation of the Child Jesus and His soon Return, we consider what God’s perfect plan for us is. We decide that rather than try to figure out what 2026 is about and how we manoeuvre through it, we turn to the Eternal God of all Wisdom, who sees the End from the Beginning, and gracefully maps out our course. January in this context is about asking that we may receive, seeking that we may find, and knocking on the door to the Lord, that He may open it.
God would never refuse a person who is genuinely and sincerely looking for His Will for their life. Many of us have had the experience of failures in the past, in the business world we are familiar with management takeovers. What we are doing here is something similar in the light of Jesus’ own words from John 15, where he describes himself as the vine, and us as the branches and Our Heavenly Father as the Vine Dresser. The Holy Spirit is the sap that flows from the vine to the branches to produce the fruit. The fruits of virtue, the fruits of faith and the fruits of operating in the Divine Will. Many of us have come to know the familiar pattern of failure or a lack of success, but what Jesus promises is success, an abundant harvest. He says, “Without me, you can do nothing, but with me, all things are possible”. Jesus is the “Logos”, which is “The Word” that has come into the world, not only to bear witness to the Truth, but to light our way and to guide us in the right way. That’s why he describes himself to us as being, “The Way, The Truth, and The Life”. This January, start with the New Year’s Resolution that you may not have considered before. Change your perspective and objective to being that of God’s own perfect plans for you this coming year, where you surrender everything to God, and yield to His plan for you, asking Him to give them to you, seeking them that they be revealed to you, and knocking on the door of His heart, to come into His presence and open the door of your heart allowing Jesus to come in and sit at the throne of your heart – this is God’s Will, and these daily prayers of consecration to the two hearts of Jesus and Mary, below, coupled with the 10 weekly talks that start on the first day of ADVENT will help you align yourself with the Will of God for your life, as The Word of God acts as your map, and the Holy Spirit as your compass.
The same consecration prayers (shown below) are to be said every day throughout January; and you don’t have to stop at January. In fact, you don’t have to start in January; you could come back to them periodically, to come back to God, and to bring Him to the throne of your heart. Many dictionaries define “to come back to God” as the “return to success; return to a position of favour with God through faith and obedience to His Word”. Join us on this journey as we enter into the Year of Jubilee and pilgrim with us as we search with hope for God’s Divine Will and plan for us in the Year of Our Lord 2026.
